KIDS CLASSES

In Petite Feet classes, students build skills, think critically and creatively, and stay active and imaginative!  Petite Feet classes introduce skills and terminology in fun and creative ways, while also making connections between movement education and everyday learning.  Storytelling, original and familiar songs, and imaginative games are incorporated and an emphasis is placed on promoting self-esteem and self-expression.

WINTER/SPRING SESSION FEES:

$504 for Monday classes

$532 for Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday classes

 Installment payments can be set up through Sawyer.  If classes are sold out, you can join the waitlist on Sawyer or reach out via email - petitefeet@lizvacco.com.  If classes are not sold out, you are welcome to join class mid-session and the session fee will be prorated. If you are new to a specific class, you can also do a free trial class. Just email to arrange!

    All classes begin with an engaging version of the BrainDance, a warm up sequence developed by Anne Green Gilbert, that prepares the body and brain for active learning.

    Instruction is grounded in foundational elements inspired by Rudolf Laban’s categorization of human movement and how it applies to and informs the artistic experiences.

    Our approach strives to be as inclusive as possible. We are constantly seeking out and trying new stories and teaching practices so all students feel welcome, represented, and celebrated.

    Storytelling is a key component in how we teach, providing opportunities for students to apply skills in creative ways and explore their range of expression.
